2nd Annual Easter Picnic
Χριστός ἀνέστη! - Christos Anesti (Christ is Risen!)
Ἀληθῶς ἀνέστη! - Alithos Anesti (Truly He is Risen!)
Looking forward, we have two exciting events that we should all try to attend. First, our 2nd Annual Easter Picnic that’s being hosted by our Parish Council, and chaired by Eleni Pappas. This year, it will be held at the beautiful Reata Park in San Juan Capistrano on April 8th. It’s a beautiful new facility with electricity, mezzanine area, bike trails, open space, and picnic tables. We will be roasting lambs on the spit, and allowing people to bring their own food items. Entertainment will be in the form of Bounce houses and other kids activities, as well as music and dancing. We had almost 200 people attend last year, and this year we expect over 250. A flyer with details is coming shortly, but please reserve Easter Sunday for a wonderful day to have fellowship with our fellow parishioners and help meet new members as well. If you want to help, please reach out to Eleni Pappas.
